Lisa Miles
Senior Director Administration

Lisa offers more than two decades of accomplished-laden experience as a generalist and recruiter in the Human Resource arena. As Senior Director of Human Resources she was a key strategic and tactical contributor that drove the expansion of the Clinical Research Center at Bristol-Myers Squibb, in addition to supporting an international client group of more than 5,000 employees.

Beginning her career in the financial industry as an accountant at Dow Jones & Company, she demonstrated initiative by saving the company tens-of-thousands in costs annually through process improvements and new route efficiencies in paper management. Quickly distinguishing herself as a leader she accepted a position as a financial manager at another fortune 500 company.

Most recently, prior to joining The Academy’s team, she was one of the founders and managing partners of a boutique executive search firm which served the pharmaceutical and consumer products industries. Her firm successfully sourced key executives and board member positions for major domestic and international corporations.

Lisa earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Hampton University in 1985.
