Damian Thomas

Damian Thomas recently retired in February 2008, from the position of General Manager and Corporate Sales Leader for the GE Company. Working on behalf of all GE businesses to expand customer relationships, develop commercial talent, promote cross-business selling and enhance the utilization of Sale Force Effectiveness tools, he had the responsibility for the successful performance of 43,000 Sales Professionals in more than 100 countries around the world.

Damian began his career with GE in 1968 on the Field Engineering Training program and traveling globally installing and servicing power generation equipment. He later transitioned to GE Nuclear Energy in San Jose Ca. holding several leadership positions while developing global experience during his extensive exposure to the Nuclear Industry and GE. He later held increasingly responsible leadership positions in GE’s Energy business including Region Manager of Utility Sales, General Manager of the Americas Parts & Services business and Regional Executive of GE’s largest industrial businesses.

In 1995 Damian left GE to join PECO Energy where he was appointed Vice President, Marketing and Sales as PECO Energy prepared for deregulation in Pennsylvania.

Damian rejoined GE In 1998, as General Manager of Energy Services for Central United States and Canada. Prior to his current assignment he was Regional Executive and General Manager of GE Energy Sales.

A native of Kingston Jamaica, Damian holds an MBA from City University and is a licensed professional Engineer. He and his wife Cheryl currently reside in Naples Florida and have two children, Tracy and Damian Jr.
